The upgrade rat race. Who wins and who loses? When it comes to MS upgrades, I believe the winners are Bill Gates, developers, and hardware vendors. The losers are the consumers. In addition to purchasing bloated software, users must also buy new hardware. Typically more RAM and hard drive space for bloated software to make it all work. What will they be getting for their money, quality or quantity?
When Windows 98 is released this year, watch out for the rat race to upgrade software and hardware.
You still have a better choice... OS/2 Warp.
